Just a wee update for you on some fresh and exciting changes to our showroom on South Street. One of our ground floor departments has undergone a makeover and has emerged looking better than ever. We have added some fantastic collections to our Leather Upholstery with four new models on our floor from leading manufacturers and also to our Dining Collection with new ranges such as Oakland, Zen, Georgia, Long Island and Cognac.
Oakland looks set to be a real favourite, it benefits from a gorgeous belnding of natural oak and walnut inlays and has an elegant stylish dining chair to acoompany it. This range also comprises a full range of occasional items which should mean that no one need miss out on its stylish looks.
Georgia, Long Island and Cognac are 3 ranges from our Factory Clearout which are brand new, available immediately and spectacularly priced. These ranges are all entirely solid oak and each has a unique characteristic and charm which should appeal to a broad range of customers. All have a good range of occasional items and have the ability to bring real style to your home without hitting the budget, well worth a look!
Zen is a modern and stylish range which brings real quality and contemporary appeal to our Dining Collection. This dark oak range offers minimalist styling, outstanding quality and also value for money. The dining table is accompanied by a beautifully stylish slat back chair, sideboard, tv unit, lamp table and coffee table. Zen offers lots of styling options and would add a fabulous finish to any modern home.

Our spring sale ended last week and as ever we still like to offer great value right through the year. Marie Curie - Fundraising 2008
Dear Visitor,
It's been a wee while since my last update to you, recently we have been incredibly busy co-ordinating and taking part in another Marie Curie - Big Build Appeal Fundraiser. This took place over the first Bank Holiday weekend of last month, covering 2nd to 5th May. It proved to be a great event, lots of visitors to the store enjoyed lots of fun and entertainment at the store courtesy of our clowns, magicians and also a face painter (most of our staff enjoyed this as the pictures should show) We were joined in this event by Smooth Radio, who broadcast live from the store all day. As a result of lots of work from Sharon McCallum our accountant and charity co-ordinator, who had great support from all our sales team, we were able to raise over £4000 that weekend, bringing our total for the year to over £11,000.
All our customers helped raise this great sum of money and to those who visited that weekend many thanks. We were also giving lots back to customers that weekend as we had a special prize draw which featured prizes worth over £10,000. Lucky winners recieved G Plan sofa's, Elano Recliners, Morris Dining Tables, Tempur Beds, Alstons Bedroom ranges and also a £1000 Forrest Furnishing voucher - Congratulations to all the winners and again thanks to all the team here who helped make the fundraising such fun.
